ENVIRO-PLUS® 70/30
 70% Wood 30% Paper Fiber Hydraulic Mulch With Tackifier
Enviro-Plus® Mulch is a low cost solution for enhanced seed germination and for minimizing erosion on any size revegetation project. Enviro-Plus® is a blend of wood and paper fibers along with a binder (specially formulated geo binder comprised of a high purity gypsum composed of a dry calcium sulfate hemihydrates, CaS04. ½ H20). Most mulches that have a tackifier only add 3% by weight of a cross-linked guar product. Enviro-Plus® with its geobinder is at 10% by weight, this allows the binder to stick to soil particles thus holding the seed and fertilizer in place. The binder is totally environmentally friendly and when breaks down, supplies calcium and sulfur to the soil. So if you are trying to hold a slope less than 3:1 and do not want to pay the cost of a bonded fiber matrix, then Enviro-Plus® might be what you need.
